Answers
Where in Arinsal is the Sant Andreu, exactly?
Go right up through the village of Arinsal, past the gondola on your left, past the Arinsal water company on your right, past the Café Everest on your left and then the Sant Andreu is there on the right.

How do I fly to Andorra?
We recommend that you always use BARCELONA (BCN) airport.
The other nearest airports to Andorra are TOULOUSE (TLS), CARCASSONE (CCF) and PERPIGNAN (PGF) in France and GIRONA (GRO) and REUS (REU) in Spain. On a map, all of these appear to be roughly the same distance from Andorra by road, but the journey times from any other airport are much greater; direct minibus transfers cost much more;
and
they are less frequent.
info@andorra-holidays.com
will always help you with transfers and you can build the cost into one all-in package. All you have to do is ask!

How do I get to Arinsal from the French border?
From the French border
We recommend you use the
Tunel d'Envalira
as it will save on time and petrol, but whichever way you come past the border town of Pas de La Casa, keep on the main National Road for 28km, following the directions to Andorra la Vella.
Go through Soldeu, Canillo, and Encamp
(where there is a by-pass, on the left of the second roundabout) until you come to the roundabout in
Escaldes-Engordany
, just past the FEDA hydro-electric plant, the Ibis hotel and the Volkswagen dealership.
Carry on straight, down into the town. At the second junction, turn right (by Crèdit Andorra), go over (not literally!) the first roundabout and turn left at the second roundabout. Carry on down as far as you can go and on that roundabout go in the direction
Túnel La Massana
(left lane).
Go all the way through La Massana, round the one way system, then take the right hand lane and turn up to
Arinsal
.

How do I get to Arinsal from the Spanish border?
Go through
Sant Julià de Lòria
in the direction of Andorra la Vella. At the
Margineda
where there is a sculpture in the centre of the road and an old Romanesque bridge on the right, take the right hand lane. Be careful that you are not in the bus lane. Continue on for approx 3kms, past the football stadium on your right. At the next roundabout, turn left and at the next roundabout bear round to the right. You will now be in
Prat de La Creu
and will pass in front of the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza and the Government building. Carry on straight, right through the centre of
Andorra la Vella
. At the big intersection (with Crèdit Andorra on your left), go straight over and then choose the right hand lane, which will take you up to a roundabout. Go round to the left and take the left lane marked
Túnel La Massana
. Go through the town of
La Massana
and follow the signs to
Arinsal
.
